 今日のお気に入りの曲はベットミドラーの「ローズ」
さっき日テレ系、なっち主演の「プリズンガール」というドラマで
使われていた曲です
もともとはジャニスジョプリンをモデルにした映画
ローズの主題歌でした。
優しくも力強く歌い上げるベットミドラーの歌唱は
もちろん素晴らしいのだけど
僕はこの曲の歌詞がすきなんです。
特に「忘れないで欲しい。冬の雪の下には
太陽の愛さえあれば春になって
花咲くバラの種があることを」
っていうところが好きで
つらいときや落ち込んでいるとき
この曲を聴くと励まされるんです。
宮崎アニメの「思い出ぽろぽろ」の主題歌として
都はるみが日本語でカバーしてましたが
やっぱり英詞のほうがいいです。
